When Jesus Christ died and was resurrected, his disciples began to preach the Gospel by tirelessly talking about Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose from the dead, for which they were contemptuously called "Christians". Since then, 20 centuries have passed and many human practices and traditions, outside  Biblical teachings, have been introduced into Christianity invalidating the teachings of Jesus, often transforming it into a mere religion.

But there have always been Christians who have remained faithful to the Word of God, the Bible, who have had Jesus Christ as the only and sufficient Savior and have lived according to the teachings of Jesus Christ, in a simple and pure way. Our desire is to maintain that same faith based solely on the Word of God and we consider ourselves simply "Christians", although the Roman Catholic Church calls us "Protestants" or "Evangelical Christians" to differentiate us.
